Would you like to learn more about the workings of a professional newsroom while strengthening your reporting and writing chops?
Western PA’s most visited news website, TribLIVE, is seeking an intern for Summer 2024. As a TribLive intern, you’ll have the opportunity to shadow reporters as they go about their days, whether in the courthouse or covering breaking news events. You will be given assignments to report and write several stories a week on various topics determined by your editor. The editor will work with you to sharpen your journalism skills such as interviewing techniques and how to search for public records. See attached document for full details and requirements.
This internship pays $15 an hour, funded by the Trib and a Pitt English Department Internship Grant. In order to receive funding, you must meet the eligibility requirements (see PDF).
