+Pitt Research Communications Internship (Fall ’24, paid)

Are you interested in using your writing skills to communicate about exciting research?

Pitt Research is seeking applications for a paid Fall 2024 internship in Communications. Pitt Research, led by the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research (SVCR) is the core office at the University of Pittsburgh with responsibility to:

• Advance the research enterprise 
• Support innovation, entrepreneurship, industry and economic partnerships 
• Manage research protections and trade compliance  

The communications intern will assist in writing and editing newsletters and web content, create website and social media analytics reports, create graphics for promotional materials, and more. See attached flyer for full description.

Requirements

• Status as a senior from an underrepresented group in the final year of an undergraduate degree 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strict attention to detail and strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs
