Jonathan Callard’s pedagogical interests in composition include basic writers, non-traditional students, and intersections of place and power. He teaches Workshop in Composition and has also taught Seminar in Composition: Service Learning and Seminar in Composition: Film at Pitt. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Hotel Amerika, Gulf Coast, Creative Nonfiction, Image, Arts & Letters, Gulf Stream, and The Witness, among others. He has received writing fellowships from Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts, the Ragdale Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
