Amy Flick is a Teaching Associate Professor in the Composition Program. She completed her doctoral work at Kent State University in Literacy, Rhetoric, and Social Practice. Her research and teaching centers on the communication of medical and scientific information. Her current research examines the intersections of public health writing and counterpublics. Her current work analyzes harm reduction advocacy and the material-discursive conditions shaping implementation of harm reduction strategies.
