Coding Carnival: families can learn about coding and experience a taste of Brazilian carnival culture

Coding Carnival! The Composition Program is co-sponsoring an all-ages event where participants and families can learn about coding, experience a taste of Brazilian carnival culture, eat and have fun. The event will be held twice: Jan 17 1-3pm at the Center for Creativity and Jan 18 11-1pm at the Children's Museum, MuseumLab. It's organized by Annette Vee and Luciana Louro, a visiting scholar from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a team of volunteers including Elise Silva, Stephen Quigley, Sagnika Chanda, Brittney Knotts, and Cassie Quigley. Other sponsors include Pitt Cyber, the Digital Media Lab, and the English Department.
