Colloquium: Joseph Harris, "The Essay as Form in the Digital Age"

The Humanities Center will host a discussion with Joseph Harris, University of Delaware, about his paper, "The Essay as Form in the Digital Age." Dave Bartholomae and Ben Miller will be respondents. 

Joe Harris served as Director of the Pitt Composition Program from 1994 to 1999. The author of A Teaching Subject: Composition Since 1966 (new ed. 2012), Rewriting: How to Do Things With Texts (2006), and co-editor of Teaching With Student Texts: Essays Toward an Informed Practice (2010), he is currently a professor at the University of Delaware, where he teaches courses in academic, critical, creative, and digital writing.
